Museum of the Future is a landmark devoted to innovative and futuristic ideologies. Located in the Financial District of Dubai, UAE, the Museum of the Future is a torus-shaped building with windows in the form of a poem about the future, written by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.

Founded by the Dubai Future Foundation, the Government of the United Arab Emirates opened the museum on 22 February 2022. The choice of the date was officially made because 22 February 2022 is a palindrome date (2/22/22, which is also known as Twosday).

 

Museum of the Future officially opened its doors to be an incubator for ideas and innovation. The Museum of the Future claims that it seeks to foster solutions to the challenges that future cities face, in addition to housing innovations and being a hub that brings researchers, designers, inventors and financiers under one roof.

 

The museum will host innovation labs dedicated to several sectors, including health, education, smart cities, energy and transport. It will also support and test new inventions in partnership with research institutes and universities.

TAS were appointed to provide design consultancy services for the network, audio-visual and security systems on levels 6 and 7.

 

Level 6 space is utilized for hybrid purposes, i.e. majlis, offices, boardroom & meeting rooms, with Level 7 event space above. The ‘annexation’ will involve the design and detailing of kitchen / servicing / F+B delivery facilities on Level 7.
